Here is a stamped page of all my missing hand-carved stamps from last year :( Sigh ...
So the timing couldn't be more perfect for Michelle Ward's stamp carvng crusade.
I did an art journal page with some of my new carved stamps, but the paper was a little too textured and some did not stamp well. I also added the pages were i was stamping off as I worked on them. They are pretty faded ... I was using an 8-year old stamp pad LOL

Very cool stamps! You're a very good stamp carver.

Karen - great images! Thanks for sharing your carvings and journal page with the team. That eye is cool! Don't be afraid to try paint on your stamps....I started using paint when my ink pads were dry and I haven't gone back to ink since then. Be sure to rinse off quickly though - it's a drag when the paint dries on the stamps.
Love the Egyptian eye symbol!!
Neat stamps! I really like the leaves.
These are great stamps and I have to join Michelle in urging you to try paint. It would look amazing with these excellent stamps.
Love the Egyptian Eye!
You have made some really great stamps! My favorites are the hearts...and the leaves...and the flowers! :)
Karen...all of these are fabulous. My faves are the eye and heart.
I enjoyed my visit here Karen. All of your work is marvelous.
oooh i didn't know you carved more stamps..yay! they look awesome~ I carve stamps for my papers and always use acrylic pant on them..you have to spread the paint thin on your plate so it doesn't get too much in the cracks..and a tip...keep a bucket of water(small one..kwim) then you can just toss the stamp into there if you don'twant to stop working to clean them at that point...then later you can clean all of them at once!
nice work!
