Well, I'll spare you all this sad story -- but this was kind of an art therapy page for me. I had to let go of an 8-year friendship and regain control of my life. It is still shocking to me that I was so blind to what was happening -- but life lessons were learned from this experience.

Karen, this is a very powerful and emotional journal entry. I hope you find peace in your heart.

I agree with Joanne that this is a very powerful peace. Karen, you portray your emotions on paper so well. I also hope this helps you find peace in the situation.

Karen, your evolution in expressing your heart and feelings in your work is so amazing to witness. Making yourself more honest, and therefore more vulnerable, in your art only make your art more beautiful! Soldier on, friend. You're an inspiration to us all.
Karen!
So good to see you again! I found your blog via your comment post on Art Visionz blog (Angie).

I started an art journal too, but don't journal as regularly as you do. I can't think of anything more cathartic than cutting out and pasting down words. Lovely, if sad (to you) page.
(((hugs)))
I did the same thing a few years ago and you said it perectly..."regain my life"
it wasn't easy, but I went with my gut and it was right !
Sometimes you just have to let others go so that they don't drag you down to a place where you can't survive. I hope you're okay. HUGS,
Marilyn
