Scavenging for Assemblage Stuff

Rusty Relics
Antique Canisters
House Frame

Yippeeee! This was good timing. I am visiting my cousins and Aunt in Kansas. My Uncle was an avid collector of forgotten timeless treasures, junk, and you name it. My Uncle passed away a few years ago and my Aunt and cousin were cleaning up some things lying around. There was a huge pile of rusty stuff outside and they let me scavenge for what I wanted before everything else gets melted down.

I have cool ideas for shrines and assemblage just rolling around in my head now :)

Oh, I'm so jealous of all that rust! I've been wanting to get some rusty stuff to do fabric staining with it! You have a treasure trove! Have a great time on your trip!

Great stuff you got there, Karen. I can imagine how excited you were to get it. I'm sure you'll find amazing ways to use it in your assemblage art. Way to go, girl! And, like Angie, I'm jealous too.

What a treasure trove of junk. What fun it must be to look through it all. I bet you head is spinning with ideas. It seems most of the stuff I bought at the flea market last weekend was metal stuff. I am just drawn to it. I can't wait to see what you do with all your cool finds. Have fun on your trip.
