Halloween Doodle

Fear Becomes You
This is a doodle page I did in response to a Soul Journaling prompt. I didn't set out with the intention of doing a Halloween page, but I couldn't shake the Halloween feeling with my orange background LOL I wish I could take credit for thinking up the skinny man ... but I used an image from Dover clip-art for my inspiration. My section dividers are pieces of embossed wallpaper.

The nervous prompt on
Inspire Me Thursday seemed appropriate for Halloween too, so I also worked that in. This wasn't the most soulful journaling, but it was way fun ... and I needed easy after the crazy schedule I signed up for at school LOL

I love these pages. Love that you had such fun with it, sometimes a Soul Journal page should just be expressing your inner child right?

This is very cool, Karen. I didn't know you are such a good doodler. It looks like this may have taken a lot of time....did it? Well, even if it did, it was well worth it. Oh, and I also love the cat! Great job.

This is a gorgeous page! Your thin man is the perfect addition too. Instantly I interpreted the page as him standing up in front of a large crowd to give a speech which is one of my fears. All of your lines and shapes also help me feel the anxiety happening on this page.

Your journal page is great! How did you get such great color blending in the backgrounds, I don't know, but somehow you also pulled off pink and teal in the Halloween season and made it work. Huzzah!
